Founder/Owner/Leader: Arieal Smith Liburd

Having suffered from bad allergic reactions, this founder discovered that she was reacting to some of the ingredients in nail polish. As a result, she started her own vegan nail polish company soon after turning the age of 18.

As noted elsewhere, Diana needed some lipstick and so cosmetics were one of the industries that got a lot of searches this holiday season. In the process of looking at lipsticks, a number of other cosmetic companies came up and this was one of them.

Like several of the origin stories, this too began with an unfortunate bad allergic reaction. Particularly inspiring here is the tenacity and drive of a very young entrepreneur, Arieal Smith Liburd, to turn finding a solution for herself into a company.

Suite eleven products are free of the top ten chemicals found in nail polish. The company name is an ode to the founder's mother, as she explains in the following podcast interview:
